Current Affair 1 - Operation Sadbhavana in Jammu Kashmir As a part of '  Operation Sadbhavana  ' Indian Army is undertaking multiple welfare activities in remote areas of Union Territory of Ladakh. Operation Sadbhavana is unique human initiative undertaken by Indian Army in Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh to address aspiration of people affected by terrorism sponsored and abetted by Pakistan. As a part of Operation Sadbhavana Indian Army is undertaking multiple welfare activities such as running of army good will schools, infrastructure development projects, education tours for children living in remote areas of union territory of Ladakh. Indian Army presently running 07 Army Goodwill School ( AGS ) under operation Sadbhavana in Ladakh. Objectives of Operation Sadbhavana Some of the objectives achieved through operation sadbhavana are National integration tours, women empowerment, employment generation, education development activities towards nation building

AGNEEPATH SCHEME 2022- ALL DETAILS

Through this scheme, the younger population of the country is encouraged to take the military as a carrier with a high pay scale. The Agneepath scheme allows the candidates to serve in Indian Armed Forces for four years. The selected candidates in the Agneepath scheme will be known as Agniveer.   The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is an intergovernmental organization found in Shanghai, with the objective of political, economic and security cooperation. India became a permanent member of the SCO in 2017.  Today is the Death Anniversary of  Former president Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, who is also known as the Missile Man of India. ★ He was Born on 15th October 1931 at Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu. ★ His full name was Dr. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam.  In a major diplomatic triumph, the 13th century Ramappa temple in Palampet, Telangana, was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the ongoing online meeting of the World Heritage Committee (WHC) in Fuzhou, China. About the Temple -  ★ Ramalingeswara (Ramappa) Temple was constructed in 1213 AD during the reign of the Kakatiya Empire by Recharla Rudra, a general of Kakatiya king Ganapati Deva -- The presiding deity here is Ramalingeswara Swamy. The main temple is flanked by the collapsed structures of the Kateshwarayya and Kameshwarayya temples in Palampet, about 220 km from Hyderabad.  ★ The temple, known for its exquisite craftsmanship and delicate relief work, is a savvy blend of technical know-how and materials of its time.  ★ The foundation is built with the “sandbox technique”, the flooring is granite and the pillars are basalt. ★ The lower part of the temple is red sandstone while the white gopuram is built with light bricks that reportedly float on water. ★Earlier, the Int
