Indian government recently announced formation of separate Union Ministry of cooperation.


Objectives of cooperation ministry

* Ministry of cooperation will provide a separate administrative legal and policy framework for strengthening the cooperative movement in the country.

* Ministry will work to streamline processes for ease of doing business for cooperation and enable development of Multi State Cooperative(MSCS ).

Laws governing cooperative societies

* Cooperation is in the state list which means both Central and state government can govern them.

* The central registrar of societies is the controlling authority but on the ground state registrar takes action on his behalf.

Necessity of Cooperation Ministry

* The new ministry will restore the importance of cooperative structure in the country.

* Cooperative structure has managed to flourish and leave its mark only in handfull states like Maharashtra Gujarat Karnataka etc . Sounder this new ministry of cooperative movement would get the required financial and legal power needed to penetrate into other states also.

Written by - Harsha R Patil 2024-25ನೇ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಾಂಕ 01ಮಾಚ್೯ 2025 ರಿಂದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಪಿಯುಸಿ ( PUC ) ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ದಿನಾಂಕ 21.03.2025 ರಿಂದ ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಲ್‌ಸಿ ( SSLC ) ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಲಿವೆ. ಸಾರಿಗೆ ನಿಗಮವು ಉಚಿತ ಬಸ್ ಸೇವೆ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ .
