Position of unemployment in India at present COVID -19 situation.... What's next?? What's solution???

             Today our country facing a biggest problem unemployment and largely due to COVID-19 virus affect.regional lockdowns imposed to curb the spread of second wave of covid-19 infection have seen unemployment rate in the country.


At may month the rate rose to 12.15 % percent been it high of 17.88% in urban India.

The Labour Force Participation Rate (LFPR) is a measure of the proportion of countries working age population of a country's working engaged in the labour market.LFPR dropped to 35.69 % and 40.61% in week ended 30 May for Urban Rural India.

Declining LFPR is individuals are withdrawing from the labour market and not looking for jobs this can be the worrisome for economy.

Covid cases were increased and then lockdown is the medicine to control the virus its must be done because to control the cases but localised lockdown let to a spurt in jobless in April and May 2021.

Fear of contracting the virus resulted in peoples migrating from urban India to villages.

But rural areas were unable to offer employment because of virus entered to rural areas.

Measures can be adopted

Quick short and medium term steps includes resuming economic activities in the graded manner aiming for universal vaccination at the earliest.

Improved of business confidence will result in increased job opportunities setting the cycle of demand and supply in motion.
